Nestled in the hills overlooking downtown Los Angeles is one of the crown jewels of major league baseball: Dodger Stadium. It has been the home of Dodger baseball since 1962. As a member of the renovation team, ACCO provided HVAC Design/Assist services and installed the related mechanical equipment.
Project Requirements
In January 1999, the Dodgers announced a program of investment and limited renovation to make the stadium more economically competitive with other ballparks across the nation
What ACCO Delivered
As a member of the renovation team, ACCO provided HVAC Design/Assist services and installed the related mechanical equipment. This project included renovations to the Dodger training facilities, home, and visitor locker rooms, along with complete remodel of the Dodgers clubhouse and concessions upgrades.
This was a major project with Hunt Construction Group and their trade partners, completing the project successfully in three months. The stadium has maintained much of its original look, but with the completion of the renovation project, Dodger Stadium has more to offer: additional seats, amenities, restaurants and comfort.
